How We Check Prices

Prices last updated: October 29, 2026

Accurate prices are the reason this website exists. This page explains where our Cracker Barrel prices and nutrition numbers come from, how often we update them and how we correct mistakes.

Where our prices come from

Cracker Barrel sets prices by market, so the same steak can cost a few dollars more in a big city or high-cost state than in a small town. To estimate a typical price, we:

  • Review the official online menus of Cracker Barrel restaurants in different regions.
  • Compare independent price trackers that sample restaurant menus across the U.S.
  • Use Cracker Barrel’s own announcements for menu and price changes.

The price we show is a typical, middle-of-the-range price, not an average of extremes. Where we have it, we also show the range from the lowest to the highest prices we found. Where fewer prices are published, we show a typical estimate. Prices are for dine-in and to-go orders; delivery apps usually charge more.

Where our nutrition information comes from

Calories and nutrients come from the official Cracker Barrel Nutrition & Allergen Guide. Lunch and dinner entrées are listed without sides, as Cracker Barrel publishes them; for breakfast plates we add up the official values for each component with the default choices named on the item page. Values can change when recipes change, and customizations change the totals. Cracker Barrel publishes an allergen guide on its website; always ask if you have a food allergy.

How often we update

We review prices at least monthly and whenever Cracker Barrel announces a menu or price change. Each page shows the date prices were last checked.

Corrections

If you find an error, please tell us through our contact page. We review every report and update pages when the evidence supports a change.
